On Monday, PBS Now aired a report that dealt with the rarely addressed issue at the centre of the US attorney firings scandal. Featuring interviews with investigative reporter Greg Palast and fired US attorney David Iglesias, the segment offers an introduction to the strategy of voter suppression which the Republican Party has stepped up in recent years. With the current senate hearings exposing the extent to which the US Justice Department has been carrying out this campaign, the program is definitely worth a watch.
